Very helpful

My husband and I are on our second reading through this book. While any book like this is not a substitute for professional legal advice, we found a lot of information in here that our lawyer did not bother to explain to us. And since we didn't know what we didn't know, we didn't know to ask her about it! Reading this book has helped us to come up with a list of intelligent questions to ask our lawyer the next time we update our wills.
The author includes many details on how to avoid probate for your estate using methods such as joint ownership or trusts; how to plan for the care of your survivors after you're gone; and how to plan a funeral without getting ripped off.
One of the most helpful features for us is the chapter concerning the Letter of Instruction. The Letter of Instruction is simply a list of everything you want your survivors to know: your social security number, employer's contact info, life, auto, home, and health insurance policies, location of your tax returns, location of your keys, location of your safe deposit box, bank accounts, mortgages, credit cards, and details on how you want your funeral conducted. I feel a lot better now, knowing that should my family need to go through my paperwork and try to figure out what's what, I have this Letter of Instruction spelling it all out in one place.
I recommend this book for anyone who is interested in planning ahead.

Quick and Quality.

Our City Council in Centralia, WA refuses to fix the Handicap Button so we can get in the door easier, now going on 2 years. When I was struggling to get in I slipped and fell when it was icy out and got some brown water spots on my books. The Library gave me an $85 Fine to replace the books for something to me that was barely noticeable. As a Handicap Senior with medical bills every penny counts. Thank Goodness for you I was able to get them from you for 1/10th the price they gave me and in far better condition.
